Wireless Networks Lab hosts 2019 IEEE International Black Sea Conference on Communications and Networking

The 7th Black Sea Conference on Communications and Networking (BlackSeaCom) is held this year on June 3-6 in Sochi, Russia.  Wireless Networks lab is honored to host and organize the world-famous conference. The venue of IEEE BlackSeaCom 2019 is the Russian International Olympic University which is located in the heart of Sochi with many sightseeing places nearby.

‘The BlackSeaCom conference is a considerable event for the scientific community from all over the world and especially for the countries surrounding the Black Sea. We look forward to seeing and welcoming scientists and industry researchers in Sochi to share ideas on current trends, technical challenges, and networking developments. The conference brings together international community to exchange valuable experience and explore outstanding development of advanced communications systems. The conference program covers a wide range of technological advances and research. The technical scope consists of various sessions including Network Architectures, 5G Mobile Systems, Satellite and Space communications, Underground and underwater communications, Internet of Things, Smart grids, Vehicular Networks, and many other telecommunications realms.

Four-days conference activities, presentations, poster sessions, panel discussions, tutorials will provide significant space for fruitful scientific interaction. The conference program comprises both theoretical and technical research in the leading aspects of telecommunications, providing a large spectrum of opportunities for science and industry.

The IEEE BlackSeaCom series of conferences are held in the countries surrounding the Black Sea. The goal of the IEEE BlackSeaCom is to bring together visionaries in academia, research labs and industry from all over the world to the shores of the Black Sea.

Wireless Networks Lab is a ‘Megagrant’ lab established in 2017 around the project on Cloudified Wireless Networks for 5G and beyond, led by Prof. Ian F. Akyildiz. The team regularly reports at leading IEEE conferences, runs industrial projects and contributes to standardization of wireless networks.
