Title: Models of IoT systems with random access and correlated sources

Speaker: Anna Borisovskaya, Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI)

Abstract: One of the popular types of Internet of Things systems is monitoring systems. They are currently used in many areas of our lives: in healthcare, industry, ecology, etc. However, existing monitoring systems do not always fully cope with their task. The quality of such systems can be improved if we take into account the correlation of data on different devices.
The report will present models of Internet of Things systems with random access and correlated sources, allowing us to study the impact of taking into account the correlation of data on different devices on the performance indicators of such systems.

Bio: Anna Borisovskaya is a senior lecturer at the Department of Infocommunication Technologies and Communication Systems at the Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI). In 2012, she graduated from SUAI with a degree in Integrated Protection of Information Systems. In 2022, she completed her postgraduate studies at SUAI. She is the author of more than 10 scientific publications. Her research interests include communication systems and random multiple access.
